About us
La Commerciale S.r.l is a graphic industry, a point of reference in the sector, with over eighty years of experience in the labels field for the wine, spirits and food sectors and a tradition handed down through four generations. Founded in 1945 La Commerciale, based in Alba (CN), has always invested in new technologies with the aim of guaranteeing the highest quality and fast deliveries to the customer.
The company started with lead characters; he experimented with photocomposition techniques; the first computer users for video pagination and digital graphics; finally, purchased the most efficient sheetfed offset printing machines, mixed digital media and the best graphics software on the market.
The customer is always at the center: with him, in very close synergy, a relationship of professionalism, advice and availability is established, from the initial idea to the execution.
La Commerciale works with extreme operational flexibility, as thanks to the considerable experience accumulated over the years it is always able to intervene on the job, finding innovative and highly qualified solutions and with immediate response times.
In addition, the company is equipped with a graphic and prepress department advises very avant-garde able to be and the government of customers both from a creative and technical point of view. La Commerciale has also a mockup department to provide the customer with a true prototype of the label for any evaluations on the colors, selected support and finishings before mass production. In fact, enhancements are also possible in the mockup phase thanks to recent investments in the digital field.

Roll labels
Roll adhesive labels are the ideal solution to customize your products, with all the processes suitable to embellish and give life to the identity of your company. Ideal product for different reference sectors such as food, wine, cosmetics or chemical products.

Debossing
Debossing is a finishing technique used on self-adhesive labels that creates an engraved effect pressed into the material. Through the pressure exerted by a die (matrix) on the label substrate, part of the graphic design is impressed into the surface, producing a recessed relief that can be perceived both visually and by touch. Unlike traditional printing, debossing does not use inks, but instead acts directly on the structure of the material. The result is an elegant and subtle mark that adds depth and aesthetic value to the label.

Dry Embossing
Dry embossing (or embossing) is a finishing technique used on self-adhesive labels to create a three-dimensional raised effect on the surface of the material, without the use of inks or coatings. This process is achieved through the pressure of two opposing dies, one engraved and one counter-die, which compress the label substrate, deforming it and raising part of the graphic design. The result is a positive relief, meaning a graphic element that emerges from the surface of the label and can be perceived both visually and by touch.

Micro-engraving
Micro-engraving is a finishing technique used on self-adhesive labels that consists of creating extremely fine and detailed engravings on the surface of the material. This process makes it possible to produce micro-patterns, decorative textures, or very small graphic elements, often visible only at close range or perceptible through particular light effects. The process is carried out using engraved dies produced with high-precision technologies, which transfer onto the label substrate a pattern made up of very fine lines, dots, or geometric motifs. The result is a refined and dynamic visual effect: micro-engravings create plays of light, depth, and movement, enhancing certain areas of the graphic design without necessarily adding color or thickness. This technique is particularly effective when applied to metal foils, where the reflection of light further enhances the engraved pattern.

Screen printing
In the context of self-adhesive label production, screen printing represents an extremely versatile technology. In addition to printing colors and varnishes, it is often used to create special effects, thickness, and decorative finishes that other printing technologies would not be able to achieve with the same effectiveness. Thanks to the possibility of modulating the thickness of the ink deposit, screen printing allows applications ranging from purely graphic elements to more technical and sensory solutions. For this reason, it is one of the most important technologies in the enhancement and finishing of self-adhesive labels, helping to improve both the aesthetic appearance and the perceived quality of the product.

Multi-layer Labels
Multi-layer self-adhesive labels (or multi-layer labels) are a type of label composed of several overlapping layers of printed materials, sometimes with different textures, designed to provide a larger informational surface compared to a standard self-adhesive label or to create contrasts between different materials. The structure of a multi-layer label generally consists of a base adhesive layer, applied directly to the product, and one or more printed upper sheets, which can sometimes be lifted or opened like a small brochure.

Contemporary Foil
Contemporary Foil and embossing is a finishing technique used on self-adhesive labels that allows hot foil stamping and embossing to be applied in the same processing step. This solution makes it possible to obtain metallic or pigmented graphic elements that are also three-dimensional, increasing the visual and tactile impact of the label. The process is carried out using a heated engraved die which, through pressure and heat, transfers the foil onto the label material while simultaneously deforming the substrate to create the embossed effect. In this way, the foil perfectly follows the shape of the embossed element, ensuring a precise and consistent result.
