The Art Gallery, the event’s artistic experimentation space, immerses visitors in this revolutionary world, where creation becomes faster, supported by new tools, software, data, and processes that allow it to manifest in various ways. For the very first time in 2024, Packaging Première & PCD Milan hosted a Design Hub, a space where top agencies specialized in wine&spirits packaging design presented their projects and creations.
The Design Hub celebrates creativity and innovation in the world of packaging. This is the place where art and engineering, technique and invention, style and experience coexist in perfect balance.
The conception of this artistic gallery celebrates the spirit of non-competitive collaboration between design agencies, which come together in a shared space to showcase some of their best technical and artistic interpretations capable of narrating the value of design, elevating the narrative of each product and the intrinsic uniqueness of each brand.
An exclusive exhibition took place at within Packaging Première 2025.
5 designers, 5 regions – Veneto, Friuli Venezia Giulia, Lombardy, Tuscany, Calabria – 5 ways to interpret gin packaging.
A designer for each region has designed two gin bottles inspired by their land. The packaging of the bottles has been analyzed by a neuromarketing study involving the end consumer.
It’s not a contest; it’s a creative exercise to which, for the first time in the industry, a neuromarketing study is applied.
The projects and research, gathered in a book, were presented in a dedicated talk with the participation of Portofino Dry Gin, Sense Catch, UPM Raflatac, SoVeMec.
Epson Italia, in collaboration with the National Association of Women in Olive Oil and Nexidia, has launched EVOilàbel 2025, a graphic design contest for the best extra virgin olive oil (EVO) label. Open to communication agencies and freelance designers, the competition invites creatives to showcase their talent in one of the most significant sectors of the Italian economy, with a special focus on gender equality.
The contest has two main objectives: on one hand, it aims to inspire Italian designers to enhance the value of extra virgin olive oil through label design, a key element in product recognition. On the other, it seeks to celebrate the invaluable contribution of women in olive growing, culture, and entrepreneurship—without whom Italian olive oil would not have achieved its renowned status.
The winning label will be announced in the Conference Room on May 14, from 11:30 AM to 12:15 PM.
Visit the dedicated EVOilàbel area at the event and get inspired by the competing labels!

This edition will offer new perspectives and inspirations, driven by the artistic vision of Andrea Filippi and Gabriele Moschin, experts in integrating Artificial Intelligence in their artworks.
After challenging future design through artificial intelligence and imagination with the project Paper Posh, presented in 2024 at Packaging Première & PCD Milan, Andrea Filippi and Gabriele Moschin now unveil a deeper vision with “From AI to AI , from Artificial Intelligence to Augmented Imagination”.
Augmented Imagination, conceived by the two artists, represents an innovative approach that goes beyond the conventional applications of artificial intelligence in the world of art and design.
“Paper Posh” is an augmented reality project created by digital artists Andrea Filippi and Gabriele Moschin: a carefully selected collection of futuristic shopping bags, technically visionary and sophisticated, created using generative Artificial Intelligence software. These creations were exhibited in the elegant context of Packaging Première 2024.
In the “Paper Posh” series, Andrea Filippi and Gabriele Moschin explore original and unprecedented structures and unusual paper constructions, turning shopping bags into a challenge for the design of tomorrow.
The project will be presented in a conference on May 22, 2024.
Technical partners of the project: D’Auria and Fontana Grafica
In the new project by Packaging Première and PCD Milan, experimentation and custom come together in perfect harmony. The digital vision of the Augmented Imagination of the AI Artists Andrea Filippi and Gabriele Moschin resonates with the papermaking tradition, giving rise to the pack of cards that will accompany the 2025 event.
Just as each pack tells a story, forging a link between the graphic design, the elegance of the paper, the art of printing and the social experience that accompanies each hand of cards, so this collective project tells the story of dialogue and the coming together of professionals to create a product, but also and above all an emotion, an idea and an inspiration that is never the same.
A journey back to the basics, with a new perspective
