Packaging Première Milan has launched the first edition of Packaging Women of Italy, an initiative developed in collaboration with NVC Packaging Centre to highlight the female contribution to the world of packaging. The project celebrates leadership, creativity, and innovation, recognizing professionals who are driving the evolution of the industry and promoting sustainability and responsibility, while also providing a role model for the next generation.

Anna Paola Cavanna, Amministratore Unico at Laminati Cavanna Spa, was nominated Packaging Woman of Italy 2026 at Packaging Première Milan.
Who will the next Packaging Woman of Italy be?
Applications for Packaging Woman of Italy 2027 are now open!
Women, Italian or international, with at least one year of experience in decision-making roles within the packaging industry at companies based in Italy and operating across the entire value chain, are eligible to apply (or be nominated). In addition to providing visibility and networking opportunities, the initiative offers tangible support for professional growth.
Applications are open until 16 April 2027 at 8:30 a.m. CET and will be evaluated by a jury of industry experts under the supervision of Lara Castagna and Michael Nieuwesteeg.
The celebration of the Packaging Woman of Italy 2027 will take place during Packaging Première Milan 2027 (18–20 May 2027).
