This project draws inspiration from the city of Milan—the birthplace of the brand—an ever-evolving place known for its forward-thinking spirit, mirroring the attitude of KIKO Milano itself. In capturing this connection, Massimiliano Indelicato describes being struck by the beauty of Art Nouveau windows. Those small, colored glass panes, shimmering as they catch the light, became his source of inspiration, leading him to recreate this luminous effect on his label. The window—symbolically opening onto something new—evokes the excitement of unboxing. Meanwhile, the interplay of colors across the surface subtly recalls the iris of an eye, the defining element of a gaze. This chromatic versatility imparts a luminous and vibrant appearance to the packaging. At the bottom of the label, the infinity symbol takes shape through the phrase, “Learn about our commitment to a sustainable future”, clearly referencing the circular approach to sustainability. Finally, enriching this project further is the variable-data printing technique, which applies color variations to certain CMYK elements on each label, rendering every label uniquely distinct.

Tokay Creative Studios’ project highlights the eco-sustainability of KIKO Milano products through an illustrative label that celebrates nature and inclusivity. The illustration depicts unconventional beauties with soft shapes, flowers, and leaves. These figures are immersed in an atmosphere of elegance and charm, their gentle, natural features delicately intertwined with the surrounding vegetation. The leaves, in refined green hues, form an evocative frame around the protagonists, creating a lively contrast with their luminous skin. The characters wear the brand's makeup, featuring best-selling products such as nail polishes and lipsticks in shades of red, showcasing the versatility and timeless beauty of KIKO Milano cosmetics. The leaves near the illustrated characters’ hair and face contours create a visual connection between the essence of nature and the art of makeup. This visual composition evokes a sense of freshness and innovation, highlighting the harmony between the brand and nature. Every aspect of this label celebrates diversity, inclusivity, and the extraordinary beauty emerging from the harmonious fusion of landscape, human figures, and individuality. This perspective is further enhanced by variable-data printing technology, which changes the colors of the characters' clothing with each print run, lending even greater uniqueness to every label.
