In sustainable packaging industry, an innovation comes out that combines transparency and functionality: a revolutionary material that offers the visual clarity of plastic, but it is made of 100% 45- day biodegradable cellulose.
That outstanding material is perfect to make bags with repositionable adhesives for easy later use, boxes with inserts and many other packaging items that can replace plastic use.
In addition to transparency, Clear Paper boasts considerable resistance to moisture and tearing, making it ideal for protecting clothing during transport and storage.
It can be printed in up to 8 colours and in different weighs, from 32 to 160 grs., the FSC® certification guarantees its origin from sustainable sources, good for environment protection and traceability alongside the production chain.
A further advantage is the anti-UV additive integration that helps to maintain the integrity of the fabrics and protects contents from damage caused by ultraviolet rays.
This solution represents a significant ecofriendly alternative to common plastic polybags and contributes significantly to the reduction of plastic waste while promoting sustainable practices in the clothing apparel.
Mainetti’s project has been selected by the jury for the Sustainability category and will be exhibited in the Avant-Garde dedicated area at Packaging Première & PCD Milan 2025.
