"ETICHETTALA 2025": CREATIVITY CELEBRATES 80 YEARS OF LA COMMERCIALE SRL
LA COMMERCIALE SRL continues its commitment to education and creativity with the second edition of Etichettala, the creative contest dedicated to students of the Art Institute of Alba. The initiative involved fourth- and fifth-year graphic design classes, inviting students to design a commemorative label celebrating the company’s 80th anniversary. The project was created with the aim of bringing students closer to the world of applied graphic design and label printing, giving them the opportunity to work on a real creative brief and experience the design dynamics typical of the industry. Through the contest, students were able to express their creativity and interpret an important milestone in the history of LA COMMERCIALE SRL. During the design process, participants developed their own visual concepts, experimenting with graphic solutions capable of representing the company’s 80 years of activity through design and communication. The result was a collection of projects that highlighted creativity, graphic research and attention to detail. For LA COMMERCIALE SRL, Etichettala represents an important opportunity to engage with younger generations and the educational world. Initiatives like this help build a bridge between education and the professional environment, promoting young talent and offering students a concrete insight into the opportunities within the printing and labeling industry. With this second edition, the contest confirms the company’s commitment to supporting design culture and encouraging emerging talent, strengthening the connection between business, territory and education.

At PCD Paris, Krill Design presents a new biological material designed for small batch production and prototyping
Milan, 3rd February 2026 - Krill Design debuts at PCD Paris (Discovery Zone, stand DZ-9) presenting an exclusive preview: a new bar made from an innovative material, designed specifically for turning and milling. The new formulation represents a significant step forward compared to the alternatives currently available on the market, thanks to its balance between technical performance and environmental sustainability. Composed of 80% organic material, the bar is made from a combination of bio-resin and recycled plant fibres. The new product combines high performance, high dimensional accuracy and excellent mechanical and chemical properties. All this gives it mechanical strength, dimensional stability and accurate workability, paving the way for new applications in design and industrial production. Krill Design, which has always been a pioneer in the development of sustainable materials for circular industrial supply chains, continues its research into solutions with high technical content and low environmental impact. In line with this mission, the company is already developing additional formulations. Two in REKRILL® 100% bio differentiated by level of rigidity and one at 60% bio, with 15% vegetable fibre and recycled acetate designed to enhance and give new life to a material that, in other industrial contexts, would be difficult to recycle, thus introducing a more circular approach. The official presentation of the new biological material will take place during the PCD Paris trade fair (5 th – 6 th February 2026, Paris Expo Porte de Versailles, stand DZ-9), the leading European event dedicated to innovation in packaging and materials for cosmetics and personal care.

BEEPACK
BeePack is much more than a simple box, it is a work of nature. Its hexagonal shell holds six triangular boxes that fit perfectly together, thanks to the inner angle of 120 degrees ensuring stability and visual harmony. In addition to the design, what makes Beepack even more impressive is its commitment to the environment. We do not talk only about eco-friendly materials, but of a complete approach to environmental sustainability: its structure without glued parts makes it perfectly foldable, allowing an important space saving during transport, in the storage and even at the time of recycling.
