Microauthenfy is an integrated anti-counterfeiting solution that embeds authentication directly into plastic packaging — without labels, inks, coatings, or additional components. By engraving micro-optical structures into the injection mould, multiple images, logos, or texts become visible on the final part depending on how light interacts with its surface. These features are permanently replicated in every produced unit, transforming security into a subtle design element that cannot be removed, altered, or duplicated.
Unlike conventional approaches applied after manufacturing, Microauthenfy brings brand protection to the origin of production, enabling instant verification while preserving recyclability and aesthetic integrity. Fully scalable for mass production and compatible with existing injection processes, it allows brands to seamlessly combine product authenticity, premium appearance, and sustainability within the packaging itself.
Microrelleus’s project has been selected as Winner of the Innovative Materials category by the jury and will be exhibited in the Avant-Garde dedicated area at Packaging Première Milan 2026.
