REGENERATED WOOD is Tapì’s project for Avant-Garde 2023

Tapì’s bar top is composed upcycled wood scraps and flakes
We have created a unique bar top made from upcycled wood scraps and flakes that are layered, glued, and hot pressed to create a durable and natural-looking panel. From this panel we obtain the head of our closure, which authenticity comes from the various sizes and thicknesses of the scraps and flakes that are ‘’untreated’’, giving a natural and handcrafted look. Our project is notable for its sustainability aspect, the reuse of regenerated wood. The OSB material – Oriented Strand Board, is extremely resistant and has a low environmental impact. Moreover, its low-cost value, being versatile, makes the stopper even more interesting. To further enhance the eco-friendliness of the product, we offer the option to apply our NEOS shank, which is made from renewable polymer sources, reducing the carbon footprint. Otherwise, it is possible to choose between a natural cork or standard synthetic leg.
