Salco presents Wine@box at Avant-Garde 2025
Wine@box is an innovative packaging solution for e-commerce wine shop, a registered design.
Developed in collaboration with leading e-commerce operators in the sector, it overcomes some limits of current solutions, such as the complexity of assembling internal protective elements and the overall size of the box.
The Wine@box kit consists of an outer corrugated cardboard box with an automatic assembly system and an internal cardboard protection designed to secure bottles against breakage during transport.
The external packaging size is smaller than the commonly used solutions, allowing for volume and transport cost savings. The box assembly is faster thanks to the automatic assembly system, as is the insertion of the internal protection, which requires no pre-assembly. Additionally, the bottle locking system ensures better preservation of labels and capsules.
Made entirely of cardboard, it inherently embodies sustainability.
Salco’s project has been selected by the jury for the Design category and will be exhibited in the Avant-Garde dedicated area at Packaging Première & PCD Milan 2025.
