Pulp-Injection: a new injection molding technology developed by Nissha that uses pulp instead of plastics..

Nissha has developed a new injection molding technology called Pulp-Injection – using pulp instead of plastics.

Pulp-Injection products offer similar features and functionality as their plastic counterparts with a more environmentally conscious composition.ù

Made mainly of pulp and starch, Pulp-Injection products significantly reduce the use of plastic. The products are also recyclable through paper recycling systems.

With its excellent rigidity, Pulp-Injection allows for intricate designs with high dimensional accuracy, ensuring a tight fit for a cap on the main device. The material has a pleasing silky touch.

With the lipstick market valued at 20 billion USD, replacing a lipstick cap with a Pulp-Injection can significantly decrease plastic usage.

Beyond caps, Pulp-injection products are applicable for primary and secondary packaging including eye shadow cases, refill cups and threaded closures.

Choose Pulp-Injection for a sustainable, high-quality solution in cosmetics packaging.

Nissha’s project has been selected by the jury for the Sustainability category and will be exhibited in the Avant-Garde dedicated area at Packaging Première & PCD Milan 2024.
