Less is even Better. Especially for nature – Nissha developed a cosmetic jar made of biobased and industrial compostable Sulapac🄬 material

Less is even Better – especially for nature. Following this motto, we developed a new 50ml cosmetic jar made of biobased and industrial compostable Sulapac🄬 material.

To even increase the sustainability of our packaging, we thoughtfully optimized the jar design to be produced with bi-injection process and minimize the material usage.

Diverse like nature.

Nissha’s new 50ml cosmetic jar for water-based content is available in several colours and material options, containing different biomaterials, e.g. wood chips or natural clay. The natural look of the jar with wood chips mirrors the message of natural cosmetic inside. While natural mineral clay gives off a more luxurious impression to consumers.

Natural elements for all of us!

To deliver our microplastic-free sustainable packaging solutions for a wider audience, we developed our closure with 51mm standard glass thread. Now, even glass jar users can simply replace current Bakelite, ABS or metal closures. We’re looking forward to adapting this solution to other sizes of closures upon customers’ request.

Nissha’s project has been selected by the jury for the Sustainability category and will be exhibited in the Avant-Garde dedicated area at Packaging Première & PCD Milan 2024.
