Hennessy launches its first bottled cocktail with Cravan.

The cognac house has just unveiled its very first bottled cocktail: the Boulevardier. A creation conceived with the Parisian cocktail bar Cravan.

The cognac house is venturing into a new market: bottled cocktails. With the help of the Cravan bar in Paris – owned by Moët Hennessy – they have created the Boulevardier: a recipe that revisits the traditional Negroni cocktail, with Hennessy cognac as the main ingredient.

Two specific versions have been conceived: one based on Hennessy X.O, with notes of orange and cocoa; and a second one featuring Hennessy Very Special, reserved for lovers of more vibrant and floral flavors.

To successfully achieve this mixology work, the two houses brought together Franck Audoux, founder and artistic director of Cravan, and Renaud Fillioux de Gironde, the master blender at Hennessy. A collaborative effort that gave birth to these two pre-assembled tasting cocktails.

“These bottled cocktails are a way to have the entire Cravan experience at home,” explains Franck Audoux in a statement. “They are cocktails specially designed for this mode of consumption. Best enjoyed chilled, in chilled glasses,” advises the expert.
