Cell: cellulose, not plastic! G&CO’s project presented at Avant-Garde 2025
G&CO introduces Cell, a new line of thermoformed packaging made by NEW LW 3016V.
Versatile and suitable for high quality-aesthetic standards applications, Cell is produced by renewable sources.The main ingredients are cellulose and natural fibres PEFC certified according to the highest international traceability standards for forest menagement.
Cell,the innovation in the circular economy in the field of thermoformed packaging is home & garden compostable and does not require flocking thanks to its aesthetic-mechanical characteristics witch guarantee the care of the objects placed in the cells.
Cell has a positive impact on environment as it does not release microplastics and is biodegradable even in sea water,being completely plastic-free and carbon neutral. Manufacturing waste is completely reciclable enabling the generation of new material in a virtuous circle.
Cell is also food contact compliant.
G&CO’s project has been selected by the jury for the Sustainability category and will be exhibited in the Avant-Garde dedicated area at Packaging Première & PCD Milan 2025.
