Revita: circular packaging presented at Avant-Garde 2025

Revita transforms agro-industrial byproducts such as bran, rice husks, and brewer’s spent grains into sustainable fibers for packaging through a patented process, offering a concrete and scalable alternative to traditional cellulose.

Our unbleached fibers, visible in the cardboard, are not just additives – they provide structure and strength to the paper. The raw materials are available in large quantities, making our product a viable industrial solution capable of replacing virgin fiber with a more sustainable alternative and recycled fiber with a higher-performance option. The process has a low environmental impact (-95% water and energy consumption, -70% CO₂ emissions compared to the traditional process).
For the competition, we present our cardboard in various grammages, ready for the market, demonstrating how Bi-rex can revolutionize the industry with innovative and sustainable solutions.

Revita’s project has been selected by the jury for the Innovative Materials category and will be showcased in the Avant-Garde area at Packaging Première & PCD Milan 2025.
