Furlanis gets GRS certificate, symbol of the circular economy

Sustainable production and consumption
In 2019, Furlanis was awarded the GRS certificate, a symbol of the circular economy in the textile industry. The GRS standard, an acronym for Global Recycled Standard, puts recycling at the forefront, with the goal of encouraging the reduction of resource use (raw materials, water and energy) and increasing the quality of recycled products in order to support a sustainable production and consumption model.
Environment and recycling
The environmental declaration issued ensures the recycled material content of products, both intermediate and finished, the maintenance of traceability throughout the entire production process, restrictions in the use of chemicals, and compliance with environmental and social criteria at all stages of the production chain, from the recycling of materials, to the subsequent manufacturing stages, to the labeling of the finished product.
Short chian

The GRS certificate guarantees the production of Furlanis ribbons containing 100% post-consumer recycled material and with a manufacturing process carried out entirely in the Cavaglià (BI) plant that complies with the set requirements. GRS tapes are pleasant to work with and are made in a wide range of colors and sizes.
