Maria-Beatrice Coltelli is Associate Professor of Materials Science and Technology at the Department of Civil and Industrial Engineering of the University of Pisa where she holds courses relating to the properties and application of materials, polymers and their recycling. She is the author of approximately 120 scientific publications in international journals. In her research, especially linked to European projects, she has been dealing with renewable, biodegradable and recyclable materials for various applications in the packaging, cosmetics and personal care products sectors for about 20 years. She is the contact person for the University of Pisa for the Biobased Industries Consortium (Circular BioEconomy).
