Don Julio 194구 Peggy Gou by CCL Label for Avant-Garde 2026

The Don Julio 1942 label, created with DJ and style icon Peggy Gou, brings a bold, contemporary twist to the brand’s iconic bottle.

Produced as a Pressure Sensitive Label, it combines mint green and deep purple tones, printed in flexo with tactile screen printing for added depth and sensory appeal. The holographic “1942” emblem is enhanced with foil and embossing, blending Peggy Gou’s aesthetic with Don Julio’s heritage. On the back, a bespoke decorative decal highlights technical precision. An intricate die-cut pattern shaped by the numbers, with inner centres removed, creates a striking floating effect.

This innovation was achieved using thin films, holographic foils, tactile screen printing and a dedicated multi-web construction enabling accurate hand application. Combined with a chrome cap and reflective finishes, the bottle delivers a luxurious presence. This limited edition balances craftsmanship, innovation and contemporary flair, making it a true collector’s piece.

CCL Label’s project was selected by the jury for the Design category and will be showcased in the dedicated Avant-Garde area at Packaging Première 2026.
