FROM CURIOSITY TO PRESTIGE
Cabinets of Curiosities have fascinated man since the 16th century. From crocodiles, minerals and corals to paintings, ivory artefacts, measuring instruments and incredible contraptions, they offered a window into a world full of natural wonders and treasures that aimed to reflect the order of the universe.
In our Cabinet, just like a precious chest, upon opening it you can find four creatures from the animal kingdom, to which we have tried to infuse such particularities, so that they can be annexed to the box of wonders.
In order we find a butterfly in HP Indigo printing whose wings are characterised by two different hot prints in two different foils;
a material, porous coral with infinite laser-cut ramifications; a multi-level embossing for the fossil made on a cardboard with high elastic properties; lastly an iridescent scarab where the Scodix processes play together to obtain a three-dimensionality as close as possible to the truth.
