BAGLIO DI PIANETTO "ERA" Passito

The desire to stand out is inevitably reflected in the ‘appearance’ of this passito, with its exemplary delicacy. Indeed, the illustration adorning the label celebrates an extremely rare flower that grows only in the Baglio di Pianetto area (on less than one hectare of Monte Pizzuta, the highest peak in the Piana degli Albanesi range): the viola ucrina. The distinctive shape of the glass bottle, meanwhile, is intended to evoke the most elegant French perfumeries and the alchemy of beauty: it is an invitation to take one’s time. The stopper, also made of glass, ensures the wine is perfectly preserved and allows the packaging to be reused.
In the Arbëresh language, ‘Êra’ means wind, breath, aroma.
