Matt surfaces are in vogue
Matt surfaces are in vogue
We have been processing aluminium with a wide variety of surface structures since the company was founded in 1956 by Alfred Kirsten. Our innovation scouts are always on the lookout for new finishes, even for well-known and proven materials such as aluminium. Once it has passed durability tests and undergone successful processing trials, a new material can be added to our product range.
We were impressed by an approximately 0.5 mm thick aluminium with a matt white textured surface reminiscent of canvas. This material can not only be printed on, but also embossed if the required minimum line thicknesses are achieved. The result is a tone-on-tone appearance. Materials that are suitable for embossing can also always be curved. This means it can be used on bottles, flacons or jars, with the curving carried out using our special machines.
Another highlight of this material is the possibility of labelling it by hand.
This could include numbering, personalised names, greetings, logos or sketches. There are few limits to your imagination.
