About us
• 3,000 sqm production plan
• 40 specialized technicians
• 2 high-resolution CTPs
Thanks to these numbers we’re one of the biggest European company producing stamping tools.
The most technologically advanced machines allow us to produce, entirely in our factory brass, magnesium and copper stamping tools - silicone rubber tools - printing plates - cylinders.
Micro and nano-embossing, textures, hot stamping and embossing, even at the same time and with different levels, are obtained through mechanical, artistic or laser engraving.
Focussing on customers’ needs we create innovative solutions such as In-line flat stamping tool and Smart Register Plate System. The first one enables to have up to 5 strokes in just 1 die; the second one presents all the necessary dies already positioned on a plate, speeding up the commissioning time.
The strict controls our workflow is subjected to, are guaranteed by UNI EN ISO 9001:2015.
Products & services

Hot stamping die
Hot stamping is the easiest and the most immediate process to ennoble print support. Depending on the result required and on the print run, you can choose between three different tools: brass, magnesium or copper. These clichés differentiated from the manufacturing and the thickness of the plates. Brass tools are processed by means of mechanical engraving and are available with a thickness from 3 to 7mm. Magnesium tools have a thickness from 1 to 7mm and are made with a chemical treatment. Copper tools are available with a 7mm thickness. We are the only manufacturer in Italy producing any kind of tool in our factory, offering customers the chance to engrave them by a laser source integrating optical fiber technology.

Blind embossing die
One female tool and its counterforce (male) create an embossed image on the print support. The same procedure can be used to create debossing. Embossed effects are generally made on one single level, but on brass material, by mechanical engraving, they can also be transferred onto several levels to obtain a three-dimensional effect and fully exploit the potential of artistic engraving. For blind embossing we use 3 to 7mm for brass tools and 1,75 to 7mm for magnesium tools.

Combination tool
Made in brass with a thickness of 3 to 7mm, combination tools can reach surprising results in one single pass. With these tools, in fact, we can apply bright foils and create rounded, V-shaped, flat, beveled edge, sculptured, and multi-level effects. One single tool for two strokes ensures a clean and precise final result, without register flaws. And, no less important, processing times and production costs are reduced.

Counterforces
For effects in blind embossing, debossing and textures, it is necessary to use counterforces, which generate a counter-pressure on the print support. The counterforces can be made in different materials depending on the specific requirements.

Micro and nano engraving
A characteristic of the micro embossing or nano embossing tools is their surface, which has an extremely fine pattern to transfer the graphic details to the film and then onto the selected print support. The micro or nano-embossing textures present surface patterns with random or repeated designs and can, furthermore, be personalized with logos, writings, and graphic designs with unique effects of optical refraction that changes according to the angle of observation. This is why micro and nano embossing tools are the ideal solutions to create anti-counterfeiting holograms for brand protection. Micro embossing and nano embossing can be performed on brass (3 – 7mm thickness) and magnesium (1 – 7 mm thickness).

Texture
Just like embossing, textures are created by combining a female tool and its counterforce. The three-dimensional effect can be enhanced by means of foils, for highly impactful tactile and visual effects. Textures are produced with any kind of tools (flat, blind embossing, combined) and they can be repeated in a modular way even on large surfaces. The texture can be produced in brass, with a thickness of 3 to 7mm, or in magnesium, with a thickness of 1 to 7mm.

In-line flat stamping tool
The in-line flat stamping tool is one innovative solution: made in brass or magnesium, it makes possible to obtain up to five different effects in one single printing operation (hot printing, blind embossing, debossing, texture and anti-counterfeiting holograms), without changing stamping tools. In-line flat stamping tools are compatible with Rhino modules by PANTEC, Big Foot by ABG, CARTES and Codimag. The use of one single tool not only ensures quick processing but also grants an extremely high precision and quality because it is no longer necessary to fine-tune the register between one operation and the next – all for perfect printing results.

Cylinders
The cylinders are produced started from a round brass raw bar that is ground, polished and milled. Made by mechanical engraving, and if required with laser engraving, we can obtain full cylinders or cylinder rings for high quality and high precision hot stamping.

Silicone rubber tool
Silicone rubber tools can be prepared flat or shaped on aluminium base. This is why they are particularly appropriate for printing on bottles, flasks and tins, and they can be used on a wide range of surfaces. The silicone rubber can range from 50 to 90 shore; the thickness of the die depends on the customer’s needs. We can also prepare special silicon rubber plates on different aluminium bases for cold foil printing, dedicated to flatbed and semi-rotary presses. These kinds of dies allow to transfer the foil after the screen printing.

Printing plates
With printing plates you can obtain shiny results. The plates are available for direct printing on flexographic units with the following formats: Polyester support- thickness 1,16mm, size 700x800mm and 865x1060mm Aluminium support - thickness 1,16mm, size 700x800mm, 865x1060mm and 1250x1470mm. Using our new CTP flexo plate exposure unit, the only one in Italy, we can produce plates up to 1310x2000mm and 4000 DPI. Moreover, it makes possible to produce printing plates with meshed surfaces to create a very thick varnish or other “special” effects.

Flexo plates

SRP System
Smart Register Plate (SRP) System is the revolutionary system that ensures a perfect register to all flatbed presses. It is composed of a 2mm high steel plate, on which are mounted all the necessary dies; in this way, it takes only a few minutes to start the machinery. SRP System is positioned directly on the honeycomb through fixing systems, without the need to change any part of the printing machine. On the plate can be placed any kind of brass, magnesium or copper tool, that can be easily fine-tuned and adjusted in case of printing tolerances or distortion of the printing.
