Where packaging innovation comes to life: Packaging Première Milan 2026 unveils new spaces and experiences

Packaging Première Milan returns on 19-21 May 2026 with an even broader vision, reinforcing its role as a key hub for the international high-end packaging community. More than an exhibition, the event continues to evolve as a platform where creativity, innovation, and materials come together—brought to life through new spaces, experiences, and industry leaders shaping the future of packaging.

New spaces to experience packaging innovation

The Factory is the new area celebrating bespoke packaging. Visitors can witness live demonstrations combining state-of-the-art machinery and artisanal craftsmanship, observing materials transform into finished products in real time. This dynamic space highlights the balance between innovation and tradition, showcasing the skills, precision, and creativity that drive high-quality packaging.

The Discovery Zone will host start-ups, emerging technologies, and next-generation materials. Designed as a platform for experimentation and innovation, it highlights solutions that anticipate changes in the supply chain, with a strong focus on sustainability and research.

The Beauty Hub, powered by PCD, is an exclusive space entirely dedicated to primary packaging for the beauty sector. Bringing together suppliers, designers, and brands, it offers a focused environment to explore materials, formats, and solutions that are redefining cosmetic packaging.

Two stages, endless inspiration

The conference programme will feature top speakers from leading brands such as Barilla and Bauli Group, alongside internationally renowned designers like Juan Campdera. Sessions will take place across two stages—the Trend Hall and the Future Stage—offering content focused on design, innovation, and the future of packaging.

AVANT-GARDE AWARD – Step into the future of packaging

Avant-Garde, the Packaging Première Award celebrating the most innovative packaging projects of the year across Design, Sustainability, and Innovative Materials, returns in 2026. The selected projects are already available on the official website and will be showcased live during the event.

FOLDED REALITIES – The New Art Gallery

Each year, the Art Gallery celebrates the connection between packaging, luxury, art, and design. Folded Realities is the artistic gallery of Packaging Première 2026, inspired by the theme of the year, Paper Tracks, and by the work of origami artist Elisabetta Bonuccelli.

The artists exhibiting in this experimental space drew inspiration from the colors of the year—red, white, and black—and from three electronic music tracks, bringing to life artistic projects that explore volumes, textures, and materiality—elements that are also deeply connected to the world of packaging.

Lara Castagna, Head of Event at Packaging Première, said: “With the debut of the Beauty Hub and Discovery Zone, we are further enriching the Packaging Première experience, creating spaces dedicated to innovation, experimentation, and new packaging languages. These areas are designed to give brands, designers, and start-ups an international stage to connect, grow, and showcase ideas transforming the supply chain. It’s a natural step forward in our mission: to foster dialogue between creativity, technology, and the materials of the future.”

Packaging Première also strengthens its commitment to promoting packaging culture through an even richer programme of content, offering an authoritative overview of the trends redefining high-end packaging.

Packaging Première is the meeting point for the luxury packaging community.
Here, professionals, designers, and visionary brands come together to explore the future of packaging through conferences, initiatives, and projects that inspire new ideas.

More than just an event, it’s an experience to be lived—a space to connect, get inspired, and shape innovation.
