“Les Ronds” by Cartotecnica Moderna for Avant-Garde 2026
“Les Ronds” are round fabric hat boxes that transform the concept of packaging into a design object meant to last over time.
Crafted through meticulous Italian artisanal workmanship, they harmoniously combine fine wool, regenerated cotton, and cardboard in a structure that is both solid and soft to the touch, blending aesthetics, sustainability, and functionality. Designed to hold hats, accessories, or small precious items, their essential shapes become versatile décor elements for the home and retail spaces.
Stackable and reusable, they go beyond their packaging function to be preserved as durable containers—tangible expressions of responsible beauty where material, craftsmanship, and design exist in perfect balance.
CM Cartotecnica Moderna’s project was selected by the jury for the Design category and will be showcased in the dedicated Avant-Garde area at Packaging Première 2026.
