Satin Ocean: elegant and sustainable – Fontana Grafica’s project presented at Avant-Garde 2025
Satin Ocean is the first satin product in the Winter & Company range. After Toile Ocean, it is the second material that contains yarns made from PET bottles collected from the sea.
Developed in close collaboration with the Swiss company #tide ocean SA, the collected plastic waste is pressed into granulate in a mechanical process and then spun into yarn. This yarn makes up 51% of the Satin Ocean material.
Satin Ocean impresses with its smooth, glossy surface and is ideal for high-quality luxury packaging, display solutions and visual merchandising. The material can also be finished with hot foil stamping and screen printing, giving your creations added exclusivity.
Available in 12 elegant colours and available from stock worldwide, Satin Ocean is the ideal choice for anyone looking for a sustainable and stylish solution.
By using this material, you actively contribute to the protection of the oceans, reduce your carbon footprint, save fossil resources and support an environmentally friendly circular economy. In addition, 1% of sales are channelled into a project for clean drinking water.
Fontana Grafica’s project has been selected by the jury for the Sustainability category and will be exhibited in the Avant-Garde dedicated area at Packaging Première & PCD Milan 2025.
