For over 50 years, HLP Klearfold has been producing tailor made folding boxes. Through the years, the company has improved its products under many aspects,  switching from PCV to PET and developing  its patented SOFT CREASE technology.

This year HLP Klearfold has applied for the Avant-Garde Project with an innovation related to the raw materials it uses for its packaging.

Following the awakening of the public to environmental sensibility, many companies are establishing new sustainable goals.

For those who desire an aesthetically beautiful packaging while satisfaying sustainable goals to reduce the environmental impact, the company offers packaging woth a brand-new material called Klearfold RPET100, made form 100% postconsumer recycled and certified PET.

In the past decade HLP Klearfold has undertaken a program of vertical integration and invested in custom extruders designed to produce specifically box-grade plastics sheets.

Using these extruders, and processing meticulously sources postconsumer PET waste (water and soda bottle flake), it was able to produce box-grade RPET made with 100% PCR.

Having full control over the entire production process enables the company to make a material that has almost the same transparency of brand-new virgin PET.

In this way, its RPET 100 boxes have the lowest possible environmental impact maintaining a quality equal to the new.
